Day 1; Drive to Murchison Falls National Park

Today you will drive to Murchison Falls National park which is on the way to the north. You will pass through Masindi and continue to the Zziwa Rhino Sanctuary. You will have lunch from this place and continue to the National Park. On arrival, you will go to the top of the falls and enjoy the view of the Murchison Falls from the top. You will then cross the ferry and have a brief evening game drive as you head to the place where you will spend the night.

Day2; Game drive and afternoon boat ride

You should be up as early as 6.00am this morning. Enjoy this game drive and discover so much with the guide on the tour. At 2pm you will then go for a boat ride that will take about 2 hours to the bottom of the falls and back. Watch animals like the Hippos, Nile crocodiles, elephants and buffaloes cooling off as you get closer and closer to the place where water pours 45m over the remnant rift valley wall, creating the dramatic Murchison Falls. After the boat ride you will head back to the Lodge and have dinner and rest.

Day 3; Drive to Kibale National Park

Today you will wake up early, have breakfast and start your journey to Kibale Forest National Park. This drive will take about 7-8 hours, you will have some stop overs along the way to buy lunch and to stretch abit and then continue to fort portal where you will spend the night at Kibale Forest Camp.

Day 4; Chimpanzee trekking and drive to Queen Elizabeth

Today wake up really early, have breakfast and then you will be driven to the starting point for chimpanzee trekking. Kibale Forest is known to have 13 species of primates which is the highest number of primates in Uganda in one park. The vegetation which is mainly very tall trees is perfect for primates. In the afternoon, have lunch and then drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park to catch the boat ride along the Kazinga Channel.

Day 5; Game drive and Kyambura Gorge

Today early in the morning you wake up yet again for a game drive which means you have to be really early. The park is home to 95 mammal species and 600 bird species. The landscape is among the most impressive you will find in Uganda and it is swarmed a rich wildlife bio-diversity that comprises of primates, wild animals as well as birds.

Day 6; Drive to Lake Bunyonyi

This morning after breakfast, you will start your journey to the south west of Uganda. Enjoy the scenery along the way to this lake. You will have lunch along the way and continue to the Lake Bunyonyi which is the deepest lake in Uganda. You will have a canoe ride around the islands and listen to the local stories that are related to each of the many islands in this lake.

Day 7; Gorilla trekking

You will proceed to the point where the gorilla was the day before and then follow their tracks to see if you can find the area where the family will be on the day you trek. Carry some water, wear light clothes preferably those that cover your legs; sticks will be provided at the starting point if you need any for support because sometimes it can be slippery along the way. Also carry some binoculars because you will need to be at least 7 metres from the position of the gorillas. After this thrilling experience, you will return to the lodge to rest because in most cases people are exhausted.

Day 8; Drive to Kampala

Today have breakfast at about 8am and the start your journey back to Kampala.
