This makes tracking the mountain gorilla reasonably safe. Several families have been fully habituated and are accessible to visitors. Getting to the point where you will view the mountain gorilla is normally hard work since it will require you to be reasonably fit. Nevertheless despite the steep slopes, dense vegetation and slippery passages in case of rain, gorilla tracking can be attempted by adults of any age successfully without any regrets.  After the whole experience both the financial and physical expense are worthwhile.
